Electric Sheet Metal Cutting Tool

This is a great Milwaukee sheet metal cutter. I used it once years ago and threw it in a drawer. A friend got a battery powered one and said they liked it for deconstructing tins. So I decided to dig mine out and try it again. Well, I love it!

Today's favorite tool, the ratchet screwdriver

This is the first ratchet screwdriver I've ever bought. I love it so far. Used it just a few minutes ago to put some screws in some plywood. It worked beautifully and for once I didn't strip the heads, not sure if the 2 are related or not.

New Cutting Tools

My Dreamboat gave me some new tools this morning for Easter. The Tekton is great for cutting through thick rims, like on trays. The Bostitch is great for cutting through the rest of the way on thicker tin, however it does leave tooth marks so you'll have to use your detail snips to clean up the edges.

If you love hardware stores and tools and you don't already know about Grizzly check them out. We are lucky to have one of their 3 showrooms here in the Northwest. Yesterday a nibbler and a hole punch arrived from Grizzly and today in the studio has been dreamy. How did I ever manage before? They also sell a variety of guitar making kits, as well as a mandolin and an ukulele kit. Gotta love that.
