Day one of flattening tin.
Before removing bottoms and flattening.
After. Huge difference, so much more space. Also easier to find pieces that are needed.
So here is my advice on day two of flattening tin. If you are going to collect it for making art, flatten it when you bring it home. Don't let it pile up as I have. Even with a good electric can opener and some decent tin snips I will be at this every spare moment I have and will be finished about the end of July.
Once it's all flatten it will be sorted in tubs by color, or subject. I can hardly wait. Working on projects will be so much easier.
