Kerrie's work is kind of like the Grand Canyon. You can hear about it and see photos of it but to really "get" it you have to experience it for yourself. It is very labor intensive and time consuming. Materials are gathered from many different sources, then they are deconstructed and altered and sewn together by hand. Sound simple? I assure you it is not. There is the mind bending process of color combining and detail figuring, what to add and what to leave out, each part is as big as the whole. In this case every part is as important as the next and no more or less than the final outcome.
