This was an exercise in outlining and color gradient . Originally I wanted it to look like tattoo art but that's not exactly how it turned out. Some of the recycled tin came that way (Almond Roca tin) and other tin was partially faded by the sun. This is something I've been experimentling with.
Nevertheless I like the way it looks.
Another case where I thought I was done then decided to add more of something. I like it much better with the rose on top of the heart. The blank space was bugging me.
Me too!
and yes, I'm getting tattoo too.
I wonder, are you laying black behind the color or cutting it around the edge?
I just ordered some fun cheap Chinese litho ferris wheel toys that I used on a 'lamp' of sorts. Should have a pic on a post on Thursday.

~~Nevertheless I like the way it looks, too.~~
i like
how you are always trying new things
with your art
over here...
i like the 3D-ness of the roses
and
i remember how you
had those other flowers on magnets...
that was cool
the involvement of the non-artist
and
such
at first glance
of MOM
i thought---->
Yippeeee!
Tin Tattoo Art!
{{ seriously
