I'm in love with this chair. It would be so fun to paint. The wood could be magenta or turquoise and the upholstery could have splashes of sunflowers. Or maybe just a really great pillow of some kind.

Artful Blogging

There is a quarterly magazine called Artful Blogging. Different blogs are featured along with information on how to make your blog better and tons of eye candy. Thanks to Stephanie Hilvitz over at RodrigvitzStyle a photo of my tin artwork was published in the AugSeptOct. 2009 issue. Last year, Stephanie along with Susannah Gordon concocted Dia De Bloglandia and invited bloggers to celebrate Dia De los Muertos on their blogs. It was a huge success with 60 people participating.

Henryetta the Robot

 

Here is Henryetta finished. I love her because of the small details, her ears are from a "Needless Markup" cookie tin, her collar is from a chocolate tin...parts of her eyes are fom a child's toy. Looking at her makes me wonder what the rest of her body would look like, or what she might be holding in her hands.It's all left to the imagination. Now available on Etsy.
