and it's happening in the streets. It's a war between pedestrians and motorists. Both seem to be playing a dangerous game of chance. As a professional driver I am in the trenches daily. Pedestrians dart off the curb from between parked cars in the middle of the block, or step into a crosswalk without looking for traffic first. Cell phone toting motorists zoom through intersections like it's a video game and hitting someone would score them some points. So the message from here is slow down, hang up the cell phone and look both ways.
HURRAH!!!
I agree, everyone should slow down. Not only is it safer, but it would make for less stress and therefore you would live longer. I don’t know how you do it Jenny, all that city driving every day.
* In Connecticut, it’s a law; you can’t hold a cell phone and drive.
And where’s the Meter Maid with all those jay-walkers?
Love your painting of the bumper cars, great colors!
