In the studio I am surrounded by junk. All sorts of stuff that has crossed my path.
It settles into it's new home as though it had grown there.
Seeing it makes me happy.
Even though I may not notice it every day.
Paper sushi for the afterlife from a trip Kerrie H. took, to Vancouver- not the afterlife.
One of the things I like about this junk is that it all has a life of it's own. One day it will be in a thrift store waiting to go to it's next life with someone else.
I love seeing these details...but as I was in a cleaning frenzy yesterday I had to question my junk!!!
OH, it is quite necessary for my visual pleasure, but all that dust is making me crazy...do you have a technique?? Tiny, fluffy feathers that gently clean these collections?

Like your new side bar selection. It's sort of psychedelic!

A lively group joins around to watch you make your magic!! What I want to know is:
1) Did you give those girls their coffee cup ruff and hat, or did they come that way????
2)Did you put those doggies into that box or did they convene?
3) Did you put the cigar in the false teeth?
What I'm asking is did you set the stage?????
You're a fun one Jenny F!
