In The Studio

 

Here's 2/3s of my studio space. It used to be the garage, it's 8' x 17'. It's a great space for me to work in and one of my very favorite places to be. Most of the tins are filled with game pieces, buttons, plastic bugs or butterflies, little people from train sets, plastic letters, all sorts of things for assemblage. The yellow plastic basket is waiting to be turned into a shrine to the Virgin of Guadalupe. I thrive in this environment. Being in a stark space, such as a hotel room, for more than a few days makes me nervous.
