St. Vincent De Paul had a sale yesterday. Everything was half off, including these nun dolls. They had a basket full of them. I am not Catholic, but I do enjoy all the googahs of the religion (eg.the rosary beads, saint metals, church interiors with the holy water bowls and confession booths etc.) and hold a certain fascination about nuns. Okay, so can someone please tell me who plays with nun dolls? And, probably more importantly - HOW? Barbie is easy to play with, she has a huge wardrobe, a car , a house, a best friend and a boyfriend. But the nuns, what do they have? They wear the same thing all the time, they are married to God, and as far as I know there aren't any God dolls out there. They pray and maybe make soap or jam to sell. So I'm not sure how they would be played with exactly. I suppose they could have little spats, "No, I love God more than you do." Or, "I am pretty sure I look better in my habit than you do." I'm going to be wondering about this all day.
