Spring is quickly approaching and not a moment too soon.In 3 or 4 weeks the tulip fields in the Skagit Valley , Mount Vernon to be exact, will be in full bloom, acres of bright color in all directions.
When you see them for the first time, you can hardly believe your eyes. There is a place called Roozengaarde somewhere among the fields, that shows 100s of different tulips in bloom. You can order bulbs there for the following year. They are quite spectacular. Mount Vernon is about and hour and 15 minutes or so north of Seattle. Both sites have way better photographs than this one.
